HELP!! I have one chart list, my "default" list. Today I tried to edit it so that the charts would appear in the new sharp charts format. I made the foolish mistake of "checking all" before I attempted the edit. I'm not sure where I went wrong, but now I've lost all of my charts with their previous settings and annotations. How can I "go back" to what I had. Or better, undue what I did when I tried to edit the list. Please advise.

Use case: Go through a chart list/ scan results in Sharpchart workbench or ACP => Save charts( filter based upon some chart pattern) to a chartlist.

For this we have to manually click the arrow buttons and save button with a Mouse. Its very difficult to use the Mouse particularly when the list is big.

To save a chart we need 3-4 mouse clicks which is insane. It would be easy if they provide keyboard short-cuts like(left/right arrows for navigation, Cmd+S to save the chart to a deafult chartlist).

This will really help us to to go through the daily flow/ weekly flow.I think they need to make these basic navigations easy to perform.

Any thoughts/ tweaks for this?

How can I get ACP to automatically apply my new default chart template to any chart or list that I then open in ACP?
Is that possible?

Sometimes you want to create a chartlist for certain indexes, sectors or industry groups. You certainly can create a Scan to do that and save the results to a chartlist. Another quick way to create these types of lists is using the Chartlist Edit function.

You can use an existing chartlist or create a new one and go to Edit. In Edit there is a button to Add Symbols. Click on that and it opens a dialog box that looks like this

If you click on the From Group tab it opens a new dialog box that looks like this

Using the dropdown arrows you can select a Group (many Indexes and Sectors available here) or Industry Group to add to your chartlist in a couple clicks.

I'm often using the Sector Summary and drilling down into a sector and industry group and wish that I could review those charts in list view from that page but you can't. Using this Add Symbols feature, you can quickly create a chartlist of many things for your review
