Hi, i am writing to inquire whether it is possible to take the TSAA-SF exam online. I am currently residing in Switzerland and have been studying technical analysis independently, primarily using StockCharts.com and other online resources.As someone who is passionate about market analysis and highly interested in furthering my education in this field, I would be very grateful for the opportunity to sit the exam remotely if possible. Got an email link to a StockCharts user survey. I took it and left a lengthy note about the Tab, New Tab, New Tab issue with the scanning that was created in a release. The other questions were not really "shaping the future" type because, if they had done the survey BEFORE the prior release, we would probably not have a "new" marketcarpet, etc. Hey, who knows. Bruce Faser just announced that his Power Charting show that just posted was his last show. Last week, Halftime by Chaikin Analytics announced their last show was their last show. Earlier this year, Dave Landry announced his show has ended. Larry Williams turned into a separately paid service now. Running low on watchable shows. Tom Bowley and Joe Rabil have good shows.

Are you aware of any way to re-set an alert to trigger again during the same day? If it helps, my alerts told me to take a profit, and I did. Then I also got an alert to get back into the same position, but it went the wrong way and the alert did not warn me that my stop was hit because it had already triggered today. Thanks

This alert is set up to run on a list I created which holds the indexes such as NDX, SOX,XLK,SPX and a few others. It has alerted me several times this morning but as you can clearly see, none of these were below their SMA(14) today. As you know I have had this problem before but this is a much smaller alert and maybe whatever it is wrong is easier to see? NDX and SOX were the last two to trigger this alert today. Anyone else out there? I've been asking repeatedly for years, and years but no response from the web designers...Maybe if enough share my request, it might happen. ......... I find, MANY TIMES, a need to have a box to click to delete symbols that appear in my lists which have low volumes...lists created from outside of my scans where I can control volumes, such as Google searches, or building from lists of mutual funds or from components of ETFs, etc. Would be great to be able click a "delete box" alongside symbols in SUMMARY view, where we can see volumes. Else, add a volume column to the EDIT view that already has a check box to let us delete.. So, in EDIT view, .just need to adda volume column. IF ANYONE ELSE FINDS THIS DESIRABLE,... PILE ON. Maybe if enough ask, the web designers might be inclined to accommodate our needs. If it's just me, I apologize for this post. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

GM. I am trying to save yet another scan into the alert system. I have tried repeatedly since yesterday afternoon. Have tried several times this morning as well. As a test, I also tried to set up an alert for another scan and it worked fine. There must be something wrong with my scan, but I can't figure out what is wrong. The syntax checks out. I am not over the maximum number of alerts. I am well below the maximum characters allowed. I don't know what else to check. Do you have any ideas that I can check?

Is it Possible to have ATR eliminate EXUBERANT PRICING DAYS ?

When I spot rotations, I go to Stockcharts SECTOR list and copy the entire list to paste into a worksheet. In my worksheet, I then copy the symbols column from my worksheet and past into a "NEW CHARLIST". ...I keep that list 1 or 2 months as I monitor the companies therein. After 1 or 2 months, I then delete the entire "list" from my Chartlists and repeat for any other sector of interest. QUESTION: is there a better way than my copy-worksheet-new chartlist method? Thx in advance.

Greetings, First post here. I was referred here when asking the below of Stockcharts directly. Tom Bowley often refers to internet stocks and the index $DJUSNS. I am not seeing $DJUSNS as an industry on the stockcharts "industry summary" page. However I do see it is recognised on the charts if entered. Is there a way to find ETFs that track the $DJUSNS, or what stocks are included in it? I am not finding any ETFs that track the $DJUSNS closely when entering them onto the charts like I can with other tech industry indexes, such as software and semiconductors. Example Thanks!

I really enjoyed Tushar Chande's Trend Check Blog on StockCharts. His last blog post was end of July though. His ETFtrend.com site is no longer active as well. I use his CTM (Chande Trend Meter) technical indicator on all my line charts. Quite a proxy for a number of other indicators. He created a number of other useful technical indicators as well. Too bad he appears to be no longer blogging on StockCharts. His articles were always spot on in analysis. I will miss his contributions.

I'm trying to sort one of the standard chart lists. I can see the header change from either ascending to descending but the data doesn't sort. Is anyone else having this issue? Any ideas or suggestions for a fix. Thanks.

I am curious to know what purpose the hourly alerts, or any other alert, have in lieu of the continuous alerting. Do you know if the hourly alert sends out a notice at the end of each hour if the alert criteria has been met any time during the last hour even if the criteria has unfolded before the hour is up? I have learned over the last 6 months or so that my scans / alerts trigger during the day often, but completely unfold by the close of the day with no valid signal. That happens a lot.

I am new to this forem, but have been using Stockcharts support for more than 20 years. I have always been impressed by the quick response I get usually in less than 4 hours. My last 3 support requests have gone unanswered. I am quite conserned, maybe they have reduced the support staff?? The first request was 3 weeks ago. Second was 2 weeks ago and the 3rd is now close to a week old Has anyone else had issues with support lately?

Does the ACP charts have a measuring tool? For example I want to measure % from the peak of a chart to the low of a chart. Most of these tool look like a ruler but I cannot find one in the ACP charts or any of the others.

Hello, several of my charts set up in the “Select Start/End" Range don’t update daily. They get "froze" on data from last time (day) of viewing and updating them. Updates require sliding a range bar to “Today” position in the “End” box (whatever day it is) and “Save”. The attached picture shows my problem: as of today January 14, when I am writing this message, the subject chart shows data from two days ago. And unless I go “manually” through the update (as mentioned above) it won’t show the current data. Hence, is there any way to automatically update the “Select Start/End Range" mode that I don’t know?
