Historic Chart Patterns

Hi, everyone. I am trying to do some research into different chart patters (cup w/ handle, flags, wedges, etc) and their returns. I'm having trouble tracking down any sizable amount of data. Most articles I've read on each pattern list 2-3 examples but for my research I'd need dozens if not hundrds of examples. Does anyone know if this data exists and where I could find it? I'm looking for four pieces of data... pattern type, symbol, start date and end(breakout/completion) date.

    Thanks markd. The site is a bit overwhelming, but has a ton of information. I think the app in the software section will help me get the data I'm looking for, even though it's a little cumbersome.
