How can I create an alert to know when a price breakout happens for a symbol in a chartlist? Thank you.

    If you know the price and the symbol, you can just enter them on the technical alert page.

    Otherwise, you have to define what you mean by a breakout and write a scan for it.

    Suppose you want a 21 day breakout. Your alert might be

    [favorites list is ???]

    and [1 day ago Upper Price Chan(21) = 5 days ago Upper Price Chan(21)]

    and [close x Upper Price Chan(21)]
